STARDUST ASHTRAY

This incense holder-turned-ashtray, created by Anna Carey in collaboration with interior stylist Courtney Reeman, harkens back to memorabilia found in iconic Gold Coast motels of the 60s and 70s, with each piece coming with its own book of vintage-style motel matches.

Anna Carey is a Gold Coast artist whose work incorporates photography, model-making, film and drawing. Harnessing memory and imagination, she creates fictionalised architectural spaces based on familiar iconic buildings, evoking daydream-like feelings of nostalgia and déjà vu.
